There's nothing a BSF jawan can't do: Official climbs Mt Everest for 7th time, breaks record, again
BSF man climbed the Mount Everest for seventh time on Sunday.
New Delhi, May 21: He broke his own national record and the Border Security Force (BSF) is mighty proud about its "mountain-conqueror" man.
On Sunday morning, Loveraj Singh Dharamshaktu, an assistant commandant at the BSF, scaled the Mount Everest (8848m) for the seventh time. The native of Bona village of Munsiyari in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand, Dharamshaktu, and his teammates, consisting of six other BSF men, reached the top of the mighty Everest leaving everyone very happy.

Last year, around this time, Dharamshaktu, after successfully climbing the Everest, became the first Indian to do so for the sixth time. He has been already honoured with the Padma Shri in 2014 for successfully scaling the giant mountain year after year.
It was in 1998 when he first scaled the Everest. Then he again successfully repeated the feat in 2006, 2009, 2012 and 2013.
Speaking to The Times of India on a satellite phone, Dharamshaktu said, "Our team of seven members has successfully scaled Mt Everest at 7 am in the morning. We had started at 10 pm in the night. Weather more or less cooperated with us." He added, "All my team members are in good physical condition. We would now return to camp 2 and would reach base camp on Monday afternoon."
On their return journey, Dharamshaktu and his team members will also collect litter in bags and bring them down to the base camp.
Expressing happiness on the brilliant success, the BSF tweeted, "We did it again!!!!!"
Union sports and youth affairs minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, who had earlier flagged off the expedition in the national capital, tweeted to congratulate the team, "From being the desert scorpions to conquering the intimating snowy peaks, there is nothing a BSF jawan can't do."
