The Whispers Of Ramayana: The Tale Of Kodanda Rama Temple
A majestic temple dedicated to Lord Ram is set to open in his birthplace Ayodhya. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the temple and participate in the religious ceremony.
The construction of Ram temple has been a central issue in India for 35 years. Finally, it is going to be inaugurated tomorrow.

On the occasion of this grand celebration, do not forget one more beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Ram in Karnataka.
As the nation awaits the inauguration of the grand temple in Ayodhya, let's take a look at another exquisite temple devoted to Lord Ram in Karnataka.
At a distance of 55 km from Mysuru, Sri Kodanda Rama temple is situated just beside the Chunchanakatte Falls.
Legend describes that Lord Rama and Goddess Sita during their 'agnyaathavaasa' (period of exile), they had visited this place like tribal couple Chuncha and Chunchi, on the banks of Kaveri River.
Legend has it that there was not a single drop of water was available in this place and a divine moment unfolded when Goddess Sita expressed her wish to take a bath here. In response to her request, Lord Ram directed his devoted brother Lakshman to create a river.
Lakshman then skillfully shot an arrow at a rock, miraculously causing water to gush forth in three distinct hues - one resembling the golden glow of turmeric, another reminiscent of rich and nourishing oil, and the third mirroring the earthy tones of 'shikakai,' a traditional Indian hair-cleansing herb. Even today, the vivid traces of these three colours can be seen near the sacred temple, bearing testimony to this event.
The uniqueness of this place is that the sound of the waterfalls can be heard all over except inside the inner sanctum of the temple. However, the waterfall near the Chunchanakatte Temple cascades from a height of about 20 meters and runs in full swing.
An intriguing aspect of this temple lies in the unique positioning of Goddess Sita on the right side of Lord Rama, contrary to the conventional placement where she typically stands on the left. It was Trinabindu Maharshi who directed Goddess Sita to stand on the right side of Lord Ram.
At this place, spiritual serenity meets natural splendour, and the temple stands as a unique and key destination for the pilgrims and the devotees alike.
