Tamil Nadu: A Tenkasi constituency booth to undergo repolling
Tenkasi, May 18 A blunder committed by the election officials of polling booth number 56 at Sri Ponnambalam Middle School in Tenkasi Assembly constituency has led to the Election Commission announcing repolling in the same.
Under the Tenkasi constituency, the booth records maintained by teh polling officials and agents of the candidates showed that only 592 votes had been polled, whereas the EVM registered 644 votes.
