Sultry weather in Delhi, light rainfall likely tomorrow

New Delhi, Sep 14: It was a hot and humid day in the national capital while the weatherman has forecast light rainfall in some areas on Monday.

The minimum temperature was 25.6 degree Celsius today, a notch above the normal. The maximum settled at 34.8 degree Celsius. The humidity levels fluctuated between 89 and 56 per cent.

"Sky will remain partly cloudy tomorrow with very light rainfall in some party of the city," said an official of India Meteorological Department (IMD), adding that thundershowers may also occur.

The day temperature is likely to hover around 35 degree Celsius, while minimum will settle at 26 degree Celsius.

On Saturday, maximum temperature settled at 34 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year, while the minimum settled a notch below the season's average at 23.5 degrees Celsius.
