SSC JE 2024: Option-Cum-Preference Form Submission Window Opens– All You Need To Know

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an official notice regarding the submission of the Option-cum-Preference form for the Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, and Electrical) Examination 2024, according to the Hindustan Times (HT) report. Candidates who have appeared in Paper II of the exam are required to submit their preferences for the posts and organisations through their respective login pages on the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in.

The submission window for the Option-cum-Preference form will open on December 9 and close on December 13. All eligible candidates are strongly advised to complete the process within this timeframe. Any candidate who fails to submit their preferences during this period will not be given another chance to do so and will not be considered for inclusion in the final merit list or final selection.

Once the submission of the Option-cum-Preference form is completed, candidates will receive a confirmation email at their registered email address. It is crucial for candidates to ensure that they fill in the form accurately as no changes will be allowed after submission.

Candidates who belong to the PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities) category should carefully select only those posts that are suitable for their disabilities. The appropriate posts can be found in Para 5.1 of the Examination Notice. Posts will be allocated based on a merit-cum-preference system, as mentioned in the official notice.

2. Click on the login link and enter your login credentials.
3. Once logged in, click on 'Submit' to access the preference form.

5. Click 'Submit' once done and download the confirmation page.
6. Retain a printed copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
