Soldier injured on LoC in J&K
Jammu, June 2: An army soldier was injured overnight due to an accidental firing on the line of control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu region.
"An Army jawan of B ihar regiment was injured in an accidental gunfire on LoC in Panjaani (Balakote) area of Mendhar sector of Poonch district late night," a defence source said on Thursday, June 1 morning.
The injured soldier has been shifted to hospital for treatment.
The exact cause of the incident is being determined.
