Social Justice Ministry Tableau Celebrates Constitution's Role in Justice at Republic Day Parade
The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment's tableau, showcased during the full dress rehearsal on Tuesday, highlighted a unique blend of art, sculpture, and cultural diversity. It emphasised the Constitution as the foundation of justice, equality, liberty, and fraternity. This display is set to captivate audiences at the Republic Day Parade on Kartavyapath, celebrating 75 years of the Indian Constitution.

The tableau is part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and brings to life intricate illustrations within the Constitution. It features a Zebu bull, symbolising strength and leadership inspired by the Harappan seal. The Ashoka Pillar represents resilience and unity, while a rotating chakra wheel signifies continuous progress.
Symbolism and Artistic Representation
The display vividly reflects how the Constitution has driven economic inclusion and helped lift millions out of poverty. Sculpted figures along the sides of the tableau use optical principles to create an illusion of movement, spreading a message of unity and brotherhood. This dynamic touch adds depth to the presentation.
Nandalal Bose's artistry, which graces the pages of the Constitution, is prominently represented on sculpted panels. This connects the display to India's rich heritage. The centrepiece is a replica of the Constitution itself, with the Preamble featured prominently, reaffirming its guiding principles.
Cultural Inclusivity and Contemporary Elements
Live visuals of people from diverse walks of life add a contemporary dimension to the tableau. These elements celebrate India's cultural inclusivity and highlight the transformative power of the Constitution. The display serves as a vibrant tribute to democratic ideals enshrined in this foundational document.
As India prepares to celebrate its 76th Republic Day, this tableau promises to enthral audiences during the parade. It stands as a testament to the enduring values of justice, equality, liberty, and fraternity that continue to guide the nation forward.
