Another shocker! Driver helped Indrani Mukerjea to kill Sheena Bora for free!

Mumbai, Sept 6: Days after their arrest, Mumbai Police sources now claimed that Shyam Rai might have helped Indrani Mukerjea to kill Sheena Bora for free.

Rai reportedly told investigating officers that he did not take any money from Indrani and Sanjeev Khanna. However, when he decided to leave his job, Indrani gave Rs 1 lakh to Shyam Rai.

Rs 1 lakh, however, was not his reward, rather it was his salary of three months. Rai reportedly told police that after killing Sheena, Indrani sold all her cars.

Hence, Rai was forced to work as domestic help at Indrani's house. After spending a few months as a domestic help, Rai decided to change his job and Indrani gave him Rs 1 lakh.

Rai was the first person who Mumbai Police arrested and then trapped Indrani and her former husband Sanjeev Khanna in connection with Sheena Bora murder case.

The trio allegedly had kidnapped Sheena and then killed her. Later they allegedly disposed of her body in a jungle in Raigad, near Mumbai.

The incident took place in 2012. However, police started investigation in 2015 following a call from an anonymous person.

Sheena was Indrani's daughter from her first marriage with Sidhdharth Das. Indrani currently is married to former CEO of Star India, Peter Mukerjea.
