Schools Closed In This Uttar Pradesh District Until January 25: Find Out When Classes Resume
In response to the severe cold snap affecting the region, Ayodhya's district authorities have announced a temporary closure of schools. Chandra Vijay Singh, the district magistrate, has mandated a holiday for all educational institutions serving students up to class 5 until January 25. However, those in higher grades are required to attend school during modified hours, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This directive encompasses all aided, recognized, and board schools within the district. The decision comes as the weather forecast department anticipates harsh weather conditions, including stormy rains and dense fog, on January 22 and 23.
As the cold weather persists, educational institutions in certain areas of Uttar Pradesh have extended their holiday break. The administration is diligently monitoring meteorological conditions to inform their decisions regarding school operations. This has resulted in an extended vacation for students, offering them more time to enjoy their holidays away from the classroom.

Conversely, as the weather begins to improve in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, schools are gradually welcoming students back. Following the guidelines from school officials, classes have resumed in various districts. Notably, schools in the Mirzapur district are set to reopen on January 22, 2025, after a brief closure that affected students from nursery to class 8 until January 21. During this period, while students enjoyed an extended break, teachers and staff were required to attend their duties from 10 am to 3 pm for administrative purposes. School authorities are keeping lines of communication open with students and parents to provide them with the most current information.
Furthermore, there's an important update for students regarding the UP Board 2025 class 12 practical exam dates. These have been revised, and students are encouraged to check the new schedule to stay informed about their upcoming examinations. This adjustment ensures that students can adequately prepare for their practical exams amidst the ongoing adjustments due to weather conditions.
The fluctuating weather in Uttar Pradesh has led to varying responses from school districts, with some extending holidays due to cold conditions and others resuming classes as temperatures begin to normalize. The primary focus remains on the safety and well-being of students, with educational authorities making adjustments as necessary. Students and parents should stay updated with the latest announcements from their respective schools, especially regarding exam schedules and school reopening dates.
