Hit-and-Run Case Verdict: Good News for Salman Khan, actor is a Free Bird now
Mumbai, Dec 10: It has been proved to be a good Thursday for Salman Khan, for his family and for his fans across the world. The Bollywood superstar has now become a "Free Bird" today (Thursday, Dec 10).
All charges against Salman Khan in connection with infamous 2002 hit-and-run case have been dropped by the Bombay High Court which has delivered its final verdict today.

1:37 pm: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has already arrived at Bombay High Court. He along with bodyguards has entered the court premises. Salman Khan was accompanied by his father and all other family members.

1:30 pm: Bombay High Court said, "...It is impervious to public pressure in this high profile case."
1:27 pm: The high court refused to accept all bills without panchnama.
1:24 pm: Suspicion cannot be grounds for conviction, observed Bombay High Court while delivering verdict on Salman Khan's case.
1:22 pm: Bombay HC lashed out at Mumbai Police saying that investigation, which was done in the case, was carried out in a faulty manner with scant regard to procedure.
1:20 pm: Prosecution has failed to establish its case against appellant accused (Salman Khan) on all charges, said Bombay High Court judge while dictating verdict.
1:13 pm: On the basis of evidence submitted by the prosecution, Salman Khan cannot be convicted, said the judge.
