Thousands of people gathered at the NCPA lawns in Mumbai to pay their final respects to legendary industrialist Ratan Tata, whose mortal remains were kept for public homage. In a touching tribute, priests from different faiths-Parsi, Hindu, Muslim, Christian, and Sikh-stood side by side, reciting prayers at Tata's prayer meet, symbolizing the unity he embodied throughout his life.

A video capturing this poignant moment, shared by ANI, quickly went viral, garnering widespread admiration. One user commented, "One man brought all religions together. RIP Sir Ratan Tata." Another added, "Great humans are not limited to any one caste, society, or religion; they belong to everyone. This video clearly shows the respect Ratan Tata commanded across all communities."

Ratan Tata passed away at the age of 86 at Breach Candy Hospital on Wednesday night.

Several prominent figures, including Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Education Minister Deepak Kesarkar, and industrialist Mukesh Ambani, rushed to the hospital upon hearing of Tata's passing.

The Maharashtra government has announced that Tata will be accorded a state funeral, and his last rites will be performed later in the day in the Worli area of Mumbai.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived at the National Centre for Performing Arts (NCPA) in south Mumbai with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal to pay his last respects.
