BJP's Plans for Ayodhya Darshan

The state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), led by VD Sharma, announced its intention to facilitate the participation of karsevaks volunteers who played a significant role in the Ram Janmabhoomi movement during the early 1990s. These volunteers will be taken to Ayodhya for darshan, allowing them to witness the culmination of their efforts.

CM Yadav's Historical Perspective

Speaking to reporters in Ujjain, Chief Minister Yadav highlighted the historical significance of the Ram Temple. He drew attention to the fact that Emperor Vikramaditya from Ujjain had constructed a Ram temple in Ayodhya two thousand years ago, which was later demolished by Mughal emperor Babar. Yadav emphasized that the revival of the temple, as ordered by the Supreme Court, marked a moment of immense religious importance.

Preparations and Celebrations

The Madhya Pradesh government and its citizens have been actively preparing for the grand event since January 16. Ujjain, home to the revered Mahakaleshwar Temple, witnessed a grand procession on Sunday morning. Children dressed as Lord Ram and Sita paraded through the city's main thoroughfares, accompanied by joyous dancing and drumming. The city resonated with chants of Jai Shri Ram, while Hindu seminaries, known as akhadas, organized religious programs to mark the occasion.

Union Minister's Praise and Congress' Response

In Guna, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's instrumental role in the construction of the Ram Temple. He expressed strong disapproval of the Congress party's decision to decline the invitation to participate in the idol consecration ceremony on Monday, stating that the 140 crore people of India would not forgive such a stance.

Meanwhile, in Bhopal, the state capital, the BJP office hosted a unique event where 108 visually-impaired individuals recited the Ramayan. The city itself was adorned with festive decorations, reflecting the joyous anticipation surrounding the temple inauguration.

BJP Chief's Interaction with Karsevaks

During an interaction with karsevaks, MP BJP chief VD Sharma expressed his commitment to facilitating their visit to Ayodhya for darshan of Ram Lalla. He commended their sacrifices and contributions towards the construction of the temple.

Congress Office's Impressive Decorations

In Indore, the Congress office, Gandhi Bhawan, garnered attention with its impressive decorations. The brightly lit structure, originally known as King Edward Hall and built in 1904, featured a giant poster visible from a considerable distance. Despite facing criticism from the BJP for declining the invitation to the ceremony, the Congress also displayed posters related to the Ram Temple across the city.

Celebrations in Jabalpur and Gwalior

Jabalpur and Gwalior joined the state in organizing various functions leading up to the idol consecration ceremony on Monday. These cities hosted numerous events and gatherings to mark the momentous occasion.
