Rajasthan LoP Jully Urges Congress MLAs to Focus on Public and Marginalized Groups' Issues
On Tuesday, Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan, Tikaram Jully, urged Congress MLAs to actively address public issues and the concerns of marginalised groups in the upcoming Assembly Session. He emphasised the importance of raising these matters vigorously in the House.

During a meeting of the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) on Tuesday, Jully expressed gratitude to the party leadership for entrusting him with a significant responsibility as a member of the Dalit community. He sought cooperation from all Congress MLAs during the session.
Shadow Cabinet Plans
Jully also discussed plans to establish a shadow cabinet aimed at holding the BJP government accountable for its actions. "We will soon form a shadow cabinet and young MLAs will be assigned departments," he said on Monday. He added that young MLAs would be tasked with monitoring different government departments.
Senior leaders such as Congress general secretaries Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa and Sachin Pilot, state unit chief Govind Singh Dotasra, and former minister Harish Chaudhary also addressed the CLP meeting, according to a party spokesperson.
Upcoming Budget Presentation
Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Diya Kumari is set to present the state budget in the assembly on Wednesday. This budget presentation is a key event in the Assembly session.
Newly elected MPs of the Congress and the INDIA bloc in Rajasthan were felicitated at the CLP meeting. However, two MPs, BAP's Rajkumar Roat and RLP's Hanuman Beniwal, could not attend the ceremony.
Allegations of Spying
Meanwhile, state Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasra alleged that special assistants to state ministers were spying on them. "These aides are sharing information on file movements with Delhi and the chief secretary," he told reporters.
Dotasra also raised questions about the transparency and acceptance status of Kirori Meena's resignation. Meena had recently stated that he submitted his resignation from his ministerial post due to his inability to secure BJP victories in Dausa and other Lok Sabha seats during recent general elections. However, his resignation has not yet been accepted.
The meeting highlighted various strategies and concerns ahead of the Assembly session, reflecting internal party dynamics and preparations for legislative responsibilities.
