Radhika Yadav Murder Probe Deepens as Old Music Video With Singer Goes Viral

Radhika Yadav, a state-level tennis player, was tragically shot dead by her father, Deepak Yadav, in Gurugram. The incident occurred at their home in Sushant Lok. Deepak later admitted to the crime and was taken into custody. The murder has sparked outrage and is being investigated from multiple angles.

Inaam Ul Haq, an independent music artist, featured Radhika in his music video "Karwaan," released a year ago. He shared that Radhika deactivated her Instagram account after the song's release. When asked why, she mentioned being busy with work. Inaam had travelled to Delhi for the shoot, which took place in her mother's presence.

The Music Video That Added to the Tension

The music video "Karwaan," produced by Zeeshan Ahmad under LLF Records, showcased Radhika alongside Inaam in romantic scenes. Despite its release, the video didn't gain much traction. Inaam requested its removal due to its lack of success and Radhika's inactivity on social media.

Radhika's involvement in the music video added tension at home, according to police investigations. Her father reportedly disapproved of her growing social media presence and participation in such projects. This aspect is being explored as part of the ongoing investigation into her murder.

Family Disputes and Investigation

The primary conflict between Radhika and her father revolved around her tennis academy. Police stated that this long-standing dispute was a significant factor leading to the tragic event. However, they are examining all possible motives behind the murder.

Vinod Kumar, Station House Officer of Sector 56 police station in Gurugram, dismissed any love or honour killing theories related to the case. Meanwhile, sources revealed that Deepak felt humiliated by living off his daughter's earnings, which contributed to his actions.

Radhika was renowned in the state-level tennis circuit for her doubles performance. She competed against notable players like Viswanadh Harshini and Bougrat Maelys. Besides playing, she coached young talents through her tennis academy in Gurugram.
