The suspect, identified as Shimla Singh, was apprehended in Mansa.

The grenade attack took place at a petrol pump on Sirsa Road during the night of October 26 and 27. Following this, the petrol pump owner received a threatening call from an international number. The caller claimed responsibility for the attack and demanded Rs 5 crore from the owner, as per police reports.
Police Investigation and Arrest
Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav confirmed that Shimla Singh was arrested for executing the grenade attack under Dalla's orders. Singh admitted his role in the incident and revealed that he acquired the grenade from Garhshankar on Dalla's instructions, according to Yadav.
Assistant Inspector General Avneet Kaur Sidhu stated that Singh was captured on Khokhar Road in Mansa while he was walking. Senior Superintendent of Police Bhagirath Singh Meena mentioned that a special investigation team (SIT) was formed to probe the grenade attack case.
Additional Involvement
Preliminary investigations suggest that Singh also provided logistical support to shooters involved in the murder of Sikh activist Gurpreet Singh Hari Nau. This additional involvement highlights the complexity of criminal activities linked to Arsh Dalla's network.
