Pune Woman Kills Husband For Not Celebrating Birthday In Dubai

In an appalling incident, a woman in Pune, allegedly killed her husband after he refused to take her to Dubai for her birthday celebration. The victim, 38-year-old Nikhil Khanna, was found dead in his apartment after suffering a severe punch to the face, according to Wanwadi police.

The incident was reported on Friday afternoon from Wanwadi area. According to police reports, the 36-year-old wife, Renuka, had been demanding a trip to Dubai for her birthday, which fell on September 18th. However, her husband, Nikhil, was unable to fulfill her wish due to financial constraints.

The couple also had their wedding anniversary on November 5, and woman was expecting a good gift from her husband, but they did not celebrate as family was facing financial issues.

As per the reports, both of them had a heated argument on the day incident took place. In a fit of rage, the woman punched her husband in the face, resulting in excessive loss of blood and falling him unconscious.

After learning about the incident, neighbours immediately informed the police and took the victim to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Meanwhile, police registered a case of murder under the Indian Penal Code (IPC) 302 and took woman into the custody. The body of the deceased was sent for the autopsy to find out the exact cause of death, as police has a doubt that whether any other object was used in the killing or not, a police official said.
