Sassoon Hospital Doctors Suspended After Pune Porsche Crash Incident

In a significant development, the Maharashtra government took decisive action against two doctors and a staff member from the state-run Sassoon General Hospital, following their arrest linked to the alleged tampering of blood samples in a recent car crash incident involving a minor. This move comes after a three-member committee's investigation into the allegations prompted the state's Medical Education Department to recommend their suspension.

The controversy began when it was discovered that the blood samples of the underage driver, allegedly under the influence at the time of the crash on May 19 in Pune's Kalyani Nagar area, were discarded and replaced with those of another individual showing no alcohol presence.
