Lucknow, December 16: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath extended a warm welcome to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his two-day visit to Varanasi. Describing the Prime Minister as the architect of a new India, Adityanath took to social media to express his greetings on behalf of the state's 25 crore people.

Prime Minister to Inaugurate Kashi Tamil Sangamam and Launch Development Projects

During his stay in the holy city of Varanasi, Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate the second edition of Kashi Tamil Sangamam, an initiative aimed at strengthening the spirit of Ek Bharat-Shrestha Bharat (One India, Best India). The Prime Minister will also launch the Kanyakumari-Varanasi Tamil Sangam Train and gift numerous projects for the comprehensive development of Varanasi and its surrounding areas.

According to an official statement, Prime Minister Modi will arrive in Varanasi on December 17 and participate in various events during his two-day visit.

• 5:15 PM: Inauguration of Kashi Tamil Sangamam 2023 at Namo Ghat

December 18

• 10:45 AM: Visit to Swaraveda Mahamandir
• 1:00 PM: Participation in the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra
• 2:15 PM: Inauguration and laying of foundation stones for development projects worth over Rs 19,150 crore
