PM Modi's complement for 'Naatu Naatu' performance is the best achievement: Korean envoy

"It was fun for us to make a dance video on RRR movie," Chang Jae-bok said.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's compliment to their performance for 'Naatu Naatu' song from SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' is an achievement, Chang Jae-bok, South Korean Envoy to India, said on Monday.

"It was fun for us to make a dance video on RRR movie 'Naatu Naatu' song. My first impression from PM Modi's retweeting was that we just nailed it. PM Modi's complement is the best achievement I can think of as an ambassador," ANI quoted Chang Jae-bok in a tweet.

PM Modi retweeted the clip and wrote, "Lively and adorable team effort. 👍" His post has helped the performance to reach large number of netizens. By the time, this story went for publishing, the clip had garnered close to eight lakh views.

'Naatu Naatu', which won the best original song-motion picture at 80th Golden Globes Awards, is composed by MM Keeravani. The upbeat track is penned by Chandra Bose and sung Kala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj.

The clip had gone viral after PM Modi retweeted it. The video has amassed over 1.3 million views by the time this story went for publishing.

Talking about India's G20 Presidency, Chang Jae-bok that it will be "successful and I'll be looking forward to its achievements, especially in the areas of development, and the digital economy. With the G20, we expect more and more high-level officers to exchange visits."

"We will be coming up with more surprises like this and will continue to understand India's culture even more. We will try to upgrade our current relationship, which is the special strategic partnership between India and Korea," the South Korean Envoy to India added.
