People Stage Protest Outside Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat For This Reason

A group of people on August 26 staged a protest outside Mannat against Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan after the actor was seen endorsing an Online Game App.

A23 gaming app recently appointed Pathaan actor Shah Rukh Khan as the brand ambassador. Khan was seen endorsing the A23, an online rummy portal and this led the members of the group 'Untouch Youth Foundation' protest outside SRK's mansion.

According to the members of the group, they protest against online gaming apps and portals like Junglee Rummy, Zupee, and others because these platforms disrupt the youth and misguide them.

Reportedly, as per the statement released by the organisation, celebs who indulge in such endorsements misguide society, and they would protest outside Shah Rukh Khan's Mannat on behalf of Untouch India Foundation.

President of Untouch India Foundation, Krishchandra Adal was quoted saying, "The new generation involved in playing Junglee rummy publicly are arrested by the police. However, Bollywood celebs are well acquainted with this but still endorse such games in lieu of money. We demand these advertisements to stop. These apps are illegal, we can not find them on Google, but these apps are uploaded on private websites."

Mumbai Police were soon deployed at the spot to control the chaos. If reports are to be believed, police detained 4-5 persons. In a video shared online, Mumbai police can be seen securing the area near Mannat.

SRK's much-awaited 'Jawan' is all set to have a theatrical release worldwide on September 7, 2023, in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. The film also casts Pushpa fame Vijay Sethupathi, south superstar Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Priyamani. Interestingly, Deepika Padukone will be seen doing a cameo.
