in the city, said he was extremely disappointed by the inspection. From the classes to mid-day meals, everything at the school was in a mess.

Parents need to be given powers to suspend principals and teachers, as one minister could not correct all the schools in Delhi alone, he observed. "Children here are themselves teaching and conducting exams. This is really unfortunate and unacceptable, we will definitely take action against this," said Sisodia. "But the real action will be when the parents of these children will be given the power. They need to be given powers to suspend and remove principals and teachers," he said.

"One director or education minister cannot correct more than 3,000 schools in the city. The system must be decentralised," he added.

After observing the quality of the mid-day meals at the school, the minister said that he found insects.

Sisodia interacted with students who told him that the principal and teachers do not come to school on time. He also promised that strict action would be taken against the school and the teachers.
