Opposition Ups Ante Against Centre, To Raise NEET Issue In Parliament Today
The opposition INDIA alliance has announced plans to bring adjournment motions in both houses of Parliament on Friday, focusing on the ongoing controversy surrounding the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).
This decision was reached during a meeting held at the residence of Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge.

In addition to the NEET issues, the Opposition intends to address several other matters, including inflation, unemployment, and the alleged misuse of agencies like the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED), as well as concerns about the governor's office.
These topics will be raised during the debate on President Droupadi Murmu's address. Opposition members are also scheduled to assemble at the Gandhi statue in the Parliament complex on Monday.
"Several issues were discussed today in the meeting. There will be a debate on all the issues in the Parliament whether the President's address or the election of the speaker," Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said.
DMK MP T Siva told ANI, "We will give notices (in Parliament) on the NEET issue tomorrow."
The Narendra Modi-led NDA government appears to be on the back foot from the Opposition's onslaught over alleged irregularities in the NEET medical examinations, as well as the cancellations of the UGC-NET, CSIR UGC-NET, and NEET-PG examinations.
In her address to the joint session of Parliament, President Murmu affirmed the government's commitment to conducting fair investigations into these allegations.
