Opinion Poll: Will Modi Govt Return To Power? ETG Survey Out

Fresh with the victories in three states (Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh), the BJP is set for a bigger mandate than 2014 and 2019 in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls, as per an opinion poll.

Going by the ETG survey, the BJP-led NDA is predicted to win 323 seats if the Lok Sabha polls are held today. Whereas the Opposition Block INDIA is predicted to bag 163 seats.

The Congress, despite Rahul Gandhi's ambitious 'Bharat Jodo Yatra', is unlikely to come up with a better show this time as the survey indicates that the grand old party might win around 52-72 seats.

The BJP is predicted to continue its good run in the Hindi belt in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. Going by the survey report, the saffron party will win 136 seats in the North Indian seats.

In UP, it is predicted to win 70-74 seats, 24 in Rajasthan, 27-29 in Madhya Pradesh and 10-11 in Chhattisgarh.

Overall, the NDA is predicted to get a 44 per cent vote share, the INDIA alliance to get a 39 per cent vote share followed by YSRCP (3 per cent), BJD (2 per cent), BRS (1 per cent) and others (11 per cent).
