On Camera: Crow Attacks Raghav Chadha, BJP Trolls Him With 'Jhoot Bole Kauwa Kaate'
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Raghav Chadha was attacked by a crow while he was speaking on the phone outside Parliament on Tuesday.
The moment was captured by a photographer from news agency PTI, and the pictures quickly went viral on many social media platforms.

The series of three to four images shows a crow flying over Chadha's head and pecking on top of his head as he exited the House after attending Rajya Sabha proceedings. Startled by the incident, Chadha quickly bent down upon realising what had happened.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Delhi handle took to Twitter to taunt the AAP leader with an old Hindi saying, "Jooth Bole Kauwa Kaate" (Crow bites the liar).
The BJP Delhi's tweet read, "Till today we had only heard, today we saw also, Jooth Bole Kauwa Kaate!"
The post garnered significant attention, with over 7,500 likes and nearly 2,100 retweets, causing concern among netizens for Chadha's well-being. Many Twitter users expressed worries about his health, and some interpreted the incident as a bad omen.
The BJP's tweet came amidst the Opposition's move to submit a no-confidence motion against the government, demanding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi address the issue of Manipur violence in Parliament.
On Wednesday, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla accepted the notice for a no-confidence motion against PM Modi's government, brought forward by the Opposition Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA). However, the BJP government has the support of at least 332 lawmakers in Lok Sabha, rendering the no-confidence motion without any threat to the government.
Regarding the no-confidence motion, Raghav Chadha commented, "In India's Parliamentary history, critical instruments of debate, dialogue, and discussion within Parliament are exercised many times. Regardless of the outcome of those instruments and motions, they are exercised with the sole objective of having a long-duration discussion on an important issue, followed by the PM of India being compelled to come to Parliament and respond to the issues raised by the people and Members of the Lok Sabha."
He further added, "I believe these parliamentary instruments actually strengthen India's democracy and must be exercised time and again to pressurize the government to come before the Lok Sabha and answer the questions."
