No need to fuel this anymore: Sonu Nigam on Azaan debate
Nigam had earlier termed loud calls for prayers as 'forced religiousness'.
Mumbai, Apr 26: Bollywood playback singer Sonu Nigam, who found himself embroiled in a controversy for criticising sermons from the loudspeakers, said people should stop talking about the matter and move on.

The 43-year-old singer took to Twitter where he asserted that there was no need to fuel it anymore.
The singer had described the loud sermons from the loudspeakers as hooliganism in a series of tweets and a fatwa was issued against him by a Kolkata-based cleric. Nigam recently posted a video of Azaan.
Sonu had started an online war earlier this month by posting against the early morning call for prayer sent out from mosques on loudspeakers. He also called it "forced religiousness".
A complaint was filed against singer Sonu Nigam in Haryana earlier after he defended his tweets on loudspeakers. The complaint filed before the CJM Panipat was in retaliation to Nigam's statements on using loudspeakers for Azaan.
The star singer claimed that he was hurt by statements that he had targetted a particular religion and clarified that his objection was to the use of loudspeakers by all.
