Nayab Singh Saini To Take Oath As Haryana CM On October 17, PM Modi To Attend: Reports
The new BJP government in Haryana is set to be sworn in on October 17, with the oath-taking ceremony taking place in Panchkula, the party confirmed in a statement.
The ceremony will be held at the Dussehra ground in Sector 5, Panchkula, at 10 am.

Although the BJP has not yet officially announced their Chief Ministerial choice, reports suggest that Nayab Singh Saini is likely to continue in the role.
Saini, who replaced Manohar Lal Khattar as Haryana's Chief Minister in March, played a pivotal role in securing the party's victory in the recent assembly elections.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) achieved its best-ever result in the state, winning 48 seats, 11 more than the Congress. The Janta Jannayak Party (JJP) and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) were severely defeated, with the INLD managing to secure just two seats.
Defying 10 years of anti-incumbency and exit polls that had predicted a major win for the opposition Congress, BJP's success was crucial.
BJP's Haryana Strategy
According to insiders, the key to this impressive victory lay in carefully crafted social engineering and difficult decisions, such as dropping 14 sitting MLAs to combat anti-incumbency in the state. The party fielded 27 new candidates, of whom 15 won.
Both its seat share (53.3%) and vote share (39.9%) are the highest the party has ever achieved in any assembly election in Haryana.
BJP sources indicate that alarm bells rang after the Lok Sabha verdict, as the party was grappling with internal divisions and disillusioned workers.
Following its win of five out of 10 seats in the Lok Sabha elections and its lead in 44 assembly segments, BJP government recognised the need for corrective actions to address the situation on the ground.
