Navjot Singh Sidhu announces new party ahead of Punjab polls
Chandigarh, Sep 2: Former BJP parliamentarian Navjot Singh Sidhu has floated a new political outfit ahead of Punjab assembly polls, slated to be held next year.
The outfit named as Aawaaz-e-Punjab will be formally launched next week. The front will raise voice against those who have destroyed Punjab.

BJP leader and cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu resigned as a member of the Rajya Sabha in July.
On April 30 this year, Sidhu's wife had articulated her anger against her party's ally Akali Dal and said she will not contest the next Assembly polls on BJP ticket if the alliance continues.
