Naqvi slams smearing of Kulkarni's face
New Delhi, Oct 12: Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Monday said the smearing of black paint on Sudhendra Kulkarni's face was "unjust" and slammed "certain groups" who he alleged were trying to prove themselves as "extra- constitutional authority".
"In a democracy everyone has the right to agree or disagree. But, this type of protest is not justified as it is against the very core of our democratic values," he told reporters here.

The senior BJP leader said that opposing terrorist activities of Pakistan in such a fashion was not correct. "This is not the way.
As it is, we are giving a befitting reply to Pakistan on various fora," he said. Kulkarni, who is the chairman of Observer and Research Foundation (ORF), was smeared with black paint this morning by Shiv Sena activists ahead of former Pakistan foreign minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri's book launch in Mumbai today.
