Mystery over 30-year-old Telugu actress Aarthi Agarwal's death

Hyderabad, June 7: A day after her tragic demise, several questions have been raised over Aarthi Agarwal's death. While some reports claimed that actress died due to complications during a liposuction, other claimed she died after heart failure.

Liposuction is a cosmetic surgery operation that removes fat from many different sites on the human body. According to a media report, the actress, who suffered from asthma for several years, had undergone a liposuction surgery about a month ago.

Aarthi later had developed respiratory problems, claimed the media report. Aarthi's death has sparked off a fresh discussion on the procedure.

However, manager of the actress said, "Aarthi was battling obesity and pulmonary illness. She was undergoing treatment and due to some complications, she suffered a cardiac arrest and passed away."

30-year-old Aarthi died in Atlantic City, New Jersey on Saturday, June 6. The actress, who ruled the Telugu film industry from 2001 to 2004, left behind her film career and married an NRI.

Meanwhile, media reports also claimed that Aarthi was preparing to come back to Hyderabad to resume her acting career in Tollywood with an untitled film.
