MP Teen Rapes Sister After Watching Porn; Mother, Siblings Help Cover Up Crime

A nine-year-old girl in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, was raped and murdered by her 13-year-old brother after he watched porn on a mobile phone, according to police.

Following the incident, the boy's mother and two sisters, aged 17 and 18, assisted in covering up the crime.

On April 24, police were informed about a girl's body found in a house courtyard in Rewa. The post-mortem report confirmed evidence of rape and murder, prompting an investigation.

Rewa's Superintendent of Police (SP), Vivek Singh, stated, "A nine-year-old girl was raped and strangled to death under Jawa police station limits on April 24, following which the police had registered a case and started a probe."

Investigation unveils shocking details

The victim's minor brother was detained along with their mother and sisters after interrogating 50 people and gathering technical evidence.

SP Vivek Singh added, "The body of the victim was recovered from the courtyard of her house where she was sleeping at the time of the incident."

During intense questioning, it emerged that the teenage boy had slept beside his sister that night.

He sexually assaulted her after watching porn videos on his phone. When she threatened to tell their father, he strangled her. The boy then woke his mother and confessed. She discovered the girl was still alive, leading him to strangle her again.

Family's Attempted Cover-Up

The investigation revealed that the accused's elder sisters also woke up after the incident. They moved their bed to mislead the police. However, during interrogation, they confessed of their involvement in the crime.

The family initially told police that the girl died from an insect bite. SP Singh noted that there were no signs of anyone entering the house or any sounds heard during the night.

"After collecting technical evidence and interrogation of 50 people, police found repeated changes in the statements of the family members. On the basis of suspicion, they were intensely interrogated, following which they admitted the crime," he said.
