Modi asks suggestions from people for his Independence Day speech
New Delhi, July 31: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked its citizens to give ideas for his Independence Day address, which he will give from the Red Fort.
Taking to Twitter, Modi announced that he would be taking suggestions from the common public for his speech.

After Modi's tweet, people have started giving him suggestions. Many want the PM to speak about rising crimes against women, and understandably so.
Others want him to address the issues like GST implementation, late filing of ITR etc.
There are some who want him to speak about fake news, the rise of lynching incidents, and reservations.
However, this is not the first time he has asked for people's ideas. In 2017 as well, he had invited suggestions for the speech and promised to look at, as many as possible.
