Mob attack caught on camera: PSU officials dragged out, beaten up by TMC workers
Kolkata, Feb 19: The Howrah unit of Burn Standard Company Limited, a central government PSU, remained shut on Thursday following violence by TMC union members.
In a replay of the Kalyani University violence, a Trinamool mob reportedly led by Howrah mayoral council members dragged out and beat two senior officials of the PSU on Wednesday.

Media reports say senior general manager Santanu Sarkar and DGM Debashis Bhattacharya were beaten black and blue outside their office which is just in front of Howrah police HQ.
As per report in India Today, around 175 casual workers of PSU had been agitating since February 11 and were also on a relay hunger strike demanding regularisation.
The report said that a group of workers held a meeting with senior officials of the company over their demands and it was during this discussion that some of the workers allegedly assaulted two senior company officials.
The attack has been captured on camera. However, no arrests have been made yet.
