Militant hideout busted in Kupwara
Srinagar, Jul 28: Security forces have busted a militant hideout in the forest area in North Kashmir's Kupwara district and recovered a cache of arms and ammunition, police said today.
Acting on specific information, police and Army launched a joint search operation in Gund Gushi forest area of Kupwara yesterday and busted a militant hideout, police official said.

At the hideout, a huge cache of arms and ammunitions including 12 hand grenades, One AK 56 rifle, three AK magazines, 383 AK rounds, one pistol and two magazines were recovered.
Two radio sets, two antenna and an empty Pika ammunition belt were also seized from the hideout, he added. A case has been registered and an investigation is underway, he said.
