Maharashtra Election Results: Congress sidelines Rahul, Sonia; cries for Priyanka Gandhi

As per the trends available at 10:40 am, the BJP is leading at 106 seats and won 2 seats while the Congress is trailing behind at 50. After Lok Sabha elections 2014, Congress faced another shameful defeat and all Congress President Sonia Gandhi and its Vice President Rahul Gandhi faced all the wrath of its workers.
Meanwhile, party workers and supporters raised demand of bringing Priyanka Gandhi in active politics. Placards, posters in front of Congress party office in Maharashtra claimed that only Priyanka Gandhi can save Congress at the present scenario.
Earlier it was reported that Priyanka would replace Janardwan Trivedi as the general secretary of the party. All these decisions would be taken only after the assembly elections in Maharashtra and Haryana.
Though Priyanka herself overruled such reports calling them mere "rumour", it seems that time has come when Congress needs to take a major decision to save its face in the country.
