Maharashtra CM Name Finalisation Meeting: Know Date, Venue And Time For Mahayuti's Key Meet
Maharashtra's Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, has expressed his unwavering support for the BJP's decision regarding the appointment of the next Chief Minister. He assured that he would not obstruct the process. Shinde plans to meet Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday at his residence to discuss this matter further. He dismissed rumours about being upset over not securing a second term despite leading the Mahayuti alliance to a significant victory.
"...A meeting of all three parties (of Mahayuti) will be held with Amit Shah tomorrow (November 28). Detailed discussions will be held in that meeting. After that, a decision will be made." Shinde stated he had contacted Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah, expressing his willingness to accept their decision on the new CM post. "Our Shiv Sena will fully support the BJP's decision to name the next Maharashtra CM. There is no speed breaker from our side," Shinde said.

According to the reports, Mahayuti's key meeting will be held in evening around 6pm.
Mahayuti Alliance's Electoral Success
The Mahayuti alliance, led by the BJP, achieved a remarkable victory in Maharashtra's state assembly elections, securing 230 out of 288 seats. The BJP emerged as the dominant force within the coalition, winning 132 seats. Shinde's Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar's NCP also performed commendably, with Shiv Sena winning 57 seats and NCP securing 41 seats. In contrast, the Congress-led Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) faced a significant setback, managing only 16 seats.
Shinde expressed gratitude towards PM Modi and Amit Shah for their support during his tenure as Chief Minister. He highlighted his administration's efforts in elevating Maharashtra from third to first place in six months. Addressing media reports about his alleged dissatisfaction with stepping down, Shinde clarified that he was not disappointed and emphasized his commitment to serving Maharashtra's people rather than seeking popularity.
Shinde's Commitment to Maharashtra
Shinde reiterated his dedication to Maharashtra's welfare during his time as Chief Minister. He stated that his focus was on improving the state's standing rather than personal acclaim. Despite media speculation about his feelings regarding stepping down, Shinde maintained that he was content with his contributions and remained committed to supporting whatever decision is made regarding leadership.
The upcoming meeting with Amit Shah is expected to provide clarity on leadership decisions within the Mahayuti alliance. As discussions unfold, Shinde remains firm in backing BJP's choice for Maharashtra's future leadership without any hindrance from Shiv Sena.
