Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Opinion Poll For Maharashtra: According to the opinion poll done by India TV-CNX for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, the BJP's National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is likely to win 35 seats in Maharashtra out of 48. The opinion poll suggested that the INDIA bloc, which comprises NCP-Sharadchandra Pawar, Uddhav Thackrey's Shiv Sena, and Congress may win 13 seats in the upcoming elections.

Shedding light on party-wise likely seat share, the Opinion poll projected that BJP may win 25 seats, with its ally Shiv Sena-Eknath Shinde fraction to emerge victorious on 6 seats. NDA's third major partner in Maharastra NCP-Aji Pawar group will likely bag 4 seats.

On the other side, the survey hinted that Shiv Sena (UBT), NCP (Sharad Pawar), and Congress may win 8, 3 and 1 seats, respectively.

Lok Sabha elections 2024 will be the first major election for Eknath Shinde's Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar's NCP since division.

In 2019, Shiv Sena contested the General elections with NDA and managed to win 18 seats. While BJP got 23 seats at that time.

NCP was then part of Congress' United Progressive Alliance (UPA). At that time, NCP won 4 seats and Congress had won one seat. One AIMIM and one independent candidate were also elected in 2019 from Maharashtra.

Seat wise prediction:

The opinion poll data suggests that BJP may win Mumbai North, Mumbai North-East, Mumbai North-Central, Palghar, Bhiwandi, Pune, Ahmednagar, Solapur, Sangli, Nagpur, Nandurbar, Dhule, Jalgaon, Raver, Dindori, Akola, Amravati, Wardha, Bhandara-Gondiya, Gadchiroli-Chimur, Chandrapur, Nanded, Jalna, Latur, and Beed Lok Sabha constituencies in the upcoming elections.

However, people in Nashik, Parbhani, Aurangabad, Osmanabad, Mumbai South, Ratnagiri-Sindhudurg, Shirdi, and Hathkangle said that they want to elect Shiv Sena (UBT) this time.

Buldhana, Yavatmal-Washim, Mumbai North-West, Mumbai South Central, Kalyan, and Thane constituencies are likely to be clinched by Shiv Sena: Eknath Shinde group.

Sharad Pawar's new NCP appears to have a stronghold in Shirur, Madha, and Satara.

Ajit Pawar fraction has big chances to win in Baramati, Kolhapur, Maval, and Raigad. At the same time, Congress is likely to win Ramtek and Hingoli seats.
