Lok Sabha Election Schedule 2024: Phase 6 To Witness Voting On 57 Seats | Details Here
With all political parties already in campaign mode, the Election Commission (EC) announced the dates for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls on Saturday. Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar, speaking at a press briefing in the national capital, stated that polling for Lok Sabha seats would be conducted from April 19 to June 1 across seven phases, with the counting of votes scheduled for June 4.
Providing details of the poll schedule, the CEC mentioned that voting in the sixth phase would be held in 57 constituencies across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, and some regions of the north. The gazette notification for this phase will be issued on April 29, with polling scheduled for May 25.

Assembly elections in Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim will be held on April 19, and in Andhra Pradesh on May 13. Elections to Odisha assembly will be held in four phases on May 13, May 20, May 25 and June 1.
Bypolls will also be held for 26 assembly constituencies, Kumar said at a press conference flanked by two new Election Commissioners Gyanesh Kumar and Sukhbir Singh Sandhu.
The counting of votes will be held on June 4.
