Bangalore, Oct 19: BJP emerged as the single largest party in both

and

assembly elections on Sunday.

Counting of votes in 288-assembly seats Maharashtra has ended with BJP winning 123 seats, Shiv Sena-63, Congress-42, NCP-41, MNS-1 and Others-18 seats.

In Haryana, BJP won 47 seats, INLD-19 and Congress-15 in the 90-assembly seats.
