Kolkata: Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's bust vandalised in Narkeldanga
A Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's bust vandalised by miscreants in Narkeldanga area of Kolkata district on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, a complaint has been filed against unidentified persons. The partially damaged statue has been temporarily covered with a piece of cloth.
The statue was inaugurated at Netaji Park about 10 years ago by then MIC (Health) Dr Subodh Dey, who also served as councillor of ward number 29 of Kolkata Municipal Corporation. It was Dey who had constructed a children's park in that area and named it Netaji Park. According to local residents, the statue was apparently damaged on Wednesday evening.
Incidents of statues being vandalised have been reported from various parts of the country.
