Condolences for ITBP Soldiers in Chhattisgarh

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and former party chief Rahul Gandhi expressed their condolences for the fallen soldiers. Gandhi described the attack as cowardly and expressed sorrow over the loss of brave soldiers. "I pay my humble tributes to the martyred soldiers and convey my deepest condolences to the bereaved families. The country will always remember their sacrifice. I hope the injured soldiers recover as soon as possible," he stated on Facebook.

Condolences and Support

Kharge also shared his grief on X, highlighting national unity against Naxalism. He praised the sacrifice of the jawans for India and extended condolences to their families. "Our deepest condolences to the bereaved families and we pray for the speedy recovery of the injured jawans," he wrote in his post.

The attack took place when security personnel were returning from their mission. The use of an improvised explosive device (IED) by Naxalites resulted in this tragic incident, which has drawn widespread condemnation and support for affected families.

The entire nation stands with the families of those affected by this tragedy. Both leaders emphasised that the country will not forget the sacrifices made by these soldiers. Their messages reflect a collective resolve to combat Naxalism and support those who defend the nation.

This incident underscores ongoing challenges faced by security forces in regions affected by Naxal activities. Efforts continue to ensure safety and peace in these areas while honouring those who have given their lives in service.
