Kerala: LDF likely to rope in Kanhaiya Kumar as star campaigner
Kerala, Mar 7: The compelling fluency coupled with sensible political rhetorics displayed by JNU Students Union President, Kanhaiya Kumar in his speech has dispensed invigorated morale among left parties across the country.
The state of Kerala is now bracing up for assembly election that is scheduled to be held on May 16th. With Kanhaiya's speech on a day he was released from Tihar Jail, the LDF (Left Democratic Front) is now eying to rope in Kanhaiya Kumar for the election campaign discourse.

However, the OneIndia has learnt from reliable sources Kanhaiya Kumar is visiting God's own country on March 13 to attend a program organised by All India Students Federation (AISF). The state of Kerala which is currently run by Congress lead UDF (United Democratic Front) is marred with a major scam allegedly involving Chief Minister, Oommen Chandy, which is also seen as major tool for the LDF to ride on during election campaign.
With new leader of staunch left association being born in India, the morale of the comrades of LDF has doubled says a political observer from Kerala. Though there is no conclusive decision taken yet on calling Kanhaiya to campaign for Kerala assembly elections, the party is seriously deliberating on the same.
The sources in the LDF say that the speech of Kumar has created a strong positive ripples among cadre and mood is up among the party members. The LDF leaders are elated to the birth of new leader and are hoping for the revival of communist parties across India.
Besides, sources said that the plans in the drawing room of LDF is in the offing, to tie up Kanhaiya Kumar as a star campaigner ahead of assembly polls. If all goes well Kumar will be seen in Kerala campaigning for LDF to push the party to the mantle of Kerala.
The sources also pointed out General Secretary of CPI (M) Sitaram Yechury's mention, in which he said Kanhaiya would be campaigning for left parties in the coming days. At this juncture, the LDF with full enthusiasm wants Kumar to hit the political rallies ahead of elections.
