Kathua terror attack: 2 terrorists killed, search ops going on

Kathua, March 20: The gunbattle between terrorists and security personnel ended in Kathua district after the terrorists were killed. Security personnel conducted search ops after the gunbattle ended.

Meanwhile, the Home Ministry was monitoring the terror attack on the police station that resulted in the death of two policemen and one civilian after two militants entered the police station.

Home Secretary LC Goyal briefed Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh about the on-going battle between security personnel and the militants.

Meanwhile, Rajanth Singh instructed the Home Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir to monitor the situation carefully.

One of the terrorists was also killed in the gunbattle that has been going on since five hours whereas two terrorists are believed to be holed up inside the police station.
