Karunanidhi greets Sonia Gandhi on her birthday

Chennai, Dec 9: DMK President M Karunanidhi today greeted Congress President Sonia Gandhi on her 69th birthday, wishing her a long life "dedicated to the cause of" the downtrodden and the poor.

In his fax message to Gandhi, Karunanidhi extended his "hearty wishes" to the Congress chief and also asked her to "kindly take care of her health".

"I sincerely wish you a very long life dedicated to the cause of our people, especially the downtrodden and poor. I wish you success in all your endeavours," he said.
