Karni Sena Chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi Murder: Rohit Godara, Close To Lawrence Bishnoi, Takes Responsibility

Rohit Godara, a close ally to gangsters Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi, has claimed responsibility for Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi's Murder. The gangster took to Facebook to announce Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi's murder responsibility. Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, the chief for Karni Sena was shot dead by three assailants at his residence in Jaipur. His gunman Narendra also lost his life in the attack, according to the CCTV camera footage.

According to the reports, Gogamedi received many death threats in the past for being engaged in many controversies. He had also raised the demand to ban Bollywood films like Padmaavat, Tandav, Laxmii, Manikarnika, Jodha Akbar, and Veer accusing such films of insulting the Hindu Gods.

In 2017, Karni Sena vandalized Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Padmaavat's set. Gogomedi had announced a bounty on Deepika Padukone's head following a rumor that the movie features a romantic scene between Padmavati and Allauddin Khilji, which was refuted by the makers of the film.

The members of the Karni Sena on Wednesday staged protest across the state to demand a prob in Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi's murder.

Hailing from Bikaner, Rohit Godara is said to be a close ally to the gangsters Goldie Brar and Lawrence Bishnoi. He has more than 32 cases of extortion and murder filed against him and has been on the run since 2010. Rohit Godara allegedly demanded extortion from several businessmen and is a notorious criminal in Rajasthan.

Godara's name surfaced in the underworld after he was accused of orchestrating murders of Raju Theth in Sikar, and Siddhu Moosewala in Punjab.
