Jharkhand: Hemant Soren Cabinet Meeting On October 8; Big Projects For Election Bound State Expected
The Jharkhand Cabinet, led by CM Hemant Soren, is set to convene on October 8. This meeting will take place at 4 pm in the Council of Ministers Room at Project Bhawan. Several significant proposals are expected to be approved during this session, as confirmed by the Cabinet Secretariat and Monitoring Department (Coordination).
In the previous cabinet meeting on September 28, a total of 49 decisions were made. Among these, the approval for a new medical college in Ranchi and a four-lane bridge over the Ganges river were notable. Principal Secretary Vandana Dadel announced that the medical college and hospital would be constructed at Rinpas, Kanke, Ranchi, with an estimated cost of Rs 10,74,68,00,700.

Key Propoasals and Approvals
The cabinet also sanctioned the creation of academic and non-academic positions for a nursing college in Palamu. Additionally, they approved the 'Jharkhand State Youth Commission Process and Operation Regulations 2024'. Another significant approval was for the Jharkhand Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Fee) Ordinance, 2024.
