Jaitley to return as Finance Minister this month
New Delhi, Aug 3: Arun Jaitley will return as the Union Finance Minister later this month after a three month long hiatus. Media reports while quoting sources said that he would be back in at his North Block office this month.

Jaitley had undergone a renal transplant in mid-May. Reports also said that his office is being renovated and sanitised so that he is protected against infection. The three month quarantine period prescribed by doctors ends in the mid of August.
Jaitley who was lying low for sometime has recently been active on Twitter and his blog. He has been writing on various issues such as GST. In his absence the ministry was handled by Railway Minister, Piyush Goyal.
