J'khand Govt approves religious tourism for poor, backward elderly
Ranchi, Aug 30: The Jharkhand government today gave its nod to religious tourism for the poor, backward and elderly of all religions.
The approval was given during a state cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das, an official release said here.

The scheme is for the poor, backward and elderly of all religions and under it, the government will foot the bills of the beneficiaries.
They can undertake tourism twice - once pilgrimage within the state borders and another outside the state with a two year gap between the first and the second.
The cabinet also gave its nod to the MoU of NCAP-2016 (National Civil Aviation Police 2016) under specific guidelines, the release added.
