J&K: After Balakot, Pakistan violates ceasefire in Rajouri
Pakistan again on Wednesday violated ceasefire in Balakot region of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir. The violation took place at around 6:45 am, to which the Indian Army is retaliating strongly and effectively.
"Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked firing on Indian Army posts in Naushera sector in Bhimbher Gali sector at around 0845 hours. The Indian Army retaliated strongly and effectively," a defence spokesman said.
In yet another incident, Pakistan Army also shelled areas in Balakote, Dhar, Lambibari, Rajdhani, Mankote, Sandote in Rajouri and Poonch districts since early morning.
A civilian identified as Raza has been injured in the shelling in Sandote hamlet along the LoC and has been hospitalised, police officials said.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Pakistani troops had resorted ceasefire violation in BG and Poonch sectors of the J&K.
On Monday, a jawan was injured in the ceasefire violation carried out by Pakistan in the Uri Sector. On July 12, two soldiers were killed after Pakistan violated ceasefire in Kupwara Sector of Jammu and Kashmir.
On July 9, the Pakistan Army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing of small arms, automatics and mortars in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch sector along the LoC.
