Indian Coast Guard Rescues 13 Crew Members From Sinking Fishing Boat
The Indian Coast Guard swiftly responded to a distress call from the Indian Fishing Boat Gurovayoorappan despite challenging conditions, officials said in a statement on Wednesday.
"The boat was flooded and sank 30 Nm off Chavakkad, Kerala. ICG Ship Abhinav successfully de-flooded the engine compartment and ensured the safety of all 13 crew members. Post defect rectification boat entered Munambam fishing harbour safely on 21 May," ANI quoted the ICG officials in a tweet.
