India gave befitting reply to cross-border firing: Army chief

New Delhi, Jan 15: Firing and infiltration continueds at the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir, but India has given a befitting reply, the army chief, General Dalbir Singh, said on Friday, Jan 15.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the Army Day parade here, General Dalbir Singh said firing and infiltration has continued along the Line of Control (LoC).

The Indian soldiers have given "befitting reply" to the attacks, he said.

He, however, said the understanding with China along the border has improved.
